Day 01 :
Met at you hotel and transfer to the domestic airport for the 30 minute flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival you will be met by your Sherpa crew and drive north of Pokhara for approximately 1½ hours to the trek start point at Nayapul. This first day’s trek is a pleasant walk through villages, scattered forest and farmland and takes you to the village of Hille (approximately 3 hours).

Day 02 :
Continue on to the village of Tirkedunga from where one begins a steep climb up an infamous 2,767-step stone staircase to Ulleri.
Lunch may be taken here after which the trail continues through beautiful forest until one reaches the pass at Ghorapani.

Day 03 :
An early morning ascent of Poon Hill is recommended for magnificent panoramic view of the mountain ranges. Annapurna South and Hiunchuli are up front, towering and prominent, while Machapuchare looks a little less distinguished further to the east.
On returning from Poon Hill we make a gradual ascent that takes us eastwards for about an hour until we come to the crest of the hill. For a brief period the trail becomes fairly even before it steeply descends through thick forest to Banthati where we stop for lunch. Banthati is a small place comprising of a few houses turned into lodges and restaurants. From here we descend for another hour before climbing a steep hill at the top of which lies Tadapani. Tadapani comprises of a few nicely built houses turned into lodges. The people here are all from Ghandrung and they settled here just for the purpose of setting up in business for the trekker who pass this way. A more central and close-up view of Machapuchare can be enjoyed from here.

Day 04 :
Our route continues downwards in a south-easterly direction through thick forest. After sometime we leave the forest behind and cross sparsely covered hills. Going further down we arrive at Ghandrung in time for lunch. Ghandrung is a rich Gurung farming village standing on the west bank high above the river and offers a wonderful view point.
The afternoon may be spend at leisure but it is well worth spending some time exploring the village, and for the more energetic the route leading north out of the village with its picturesque houses with their slate and thatched roofs surrounded by slab courtyards. From here the view of Machapuchare (22942'/6993m) shows the reason for its name (The Fish Tail) with twin peaks lying north south plainly visible, whereas from the Pokhara valley the view is only of the spectacular southern face. To the north also lies Huinchuli (21133'/6441m) connected by the razor sharp ridge which leads across to the peak of Annapurna South (23683'/7219m). The trail to the famous Annapurna Sanctuary lies between the guardian mountains of Huinchuli and Machapuchare.

Day 05 :
After breakfast we proceed down the steep trail passing through farmland until we come to the Modi Khola river, which begins its life in the Annapurna Sanctuary. We cross a narrow suspension bridge and ascend quite rapidly to the village of Landrung. The landscape is broken by a few houses and the odd school. After lunch we climb steadily through Rhododendron before cresting the ridge
